Description

How to use ply-grip (sometimes called plygrip or curvease or curve ease). Ply-grip is used to secure fabric to the side of the chair, sofa, or couch. Ply-grip can be bent into a curved shape and cut with scissors (don’t use your expensive fabric scissors!) to the correct length. A staple gun is used to secure ply-grip, by stapling part of the staple into the ply-grip hole and the other half of the staple next to the ply-grip. The ply-grip is applied right next to the welt, so that when you tuck the fabric into the ply-grip, it fits snugly against the welt, cord, or other fabric surface. The fabric is them tapped into place using a wood or rubber mallet, so that the ply-grip holds the fabric edge in place.
